We are so grateful to all our Green Ocean supporters and fundraisers. Not only are they raising important funds for our nature restoration projects, they are also raising vital awareness of our work and the importance of helping nature to restore, replenish and thrive.
If you are thinking of doing a fundraiser for Green Ocean, here is some inspiration of previous fundraising events our supporters have organised.
Afternoon Comedy in support of Green Ocean
O Brother Brewing, Belmont Demesne, Greystones
O Brother Brewing hosted a community comedy afternoon in their taproom at Belmont Demesne, Greystones, on Saturday 31st January 2026. The event brought together the local community for a relaxed afternoon of comedy, good food and drinks, with Bray-based comedian Edwin Sammon hosting and guest acts Paul Marsh and Patser Murray performing. Tickets were priced at €5, with all ticket proceeds donated to the Green Ocean Foundation. The event was designed as a community gathering to bring people together while supporting a local environmental charity doing important work along the Irish coast.
When we learned about the work Green Ocean Foundation is doing to restore marine biodiversity and protect our oceans, particularly with projects connected to Greystones Marina, it felt like a very natural fit for us. We’re delighted to support initiatives that help protect and enhance our coastal waters. Hosting a community event at the brewery felt like a great way to raise awareness and funds while bringing people together locally in support of a cause that is closely connected to our environment.

B Ag Caint Networking Event
B Lab Ireland, Dublin
B Lab Ireland held their annual flagship Dublin event in March 2026. They decided to choose a charity partner to whom they would donate 50% of overall ticket revenue from the event and invited them to speak at the event. They wanted a nature-based charity local to Dublin with close links to the B Corp movement, and Green Ocean Foundation was a natural fit.
We love what Green Ocean Foundation has been doing, it’s a fantastic initiative and something really needed here along our east coast! Especially given our east coast was once an oyster haven!
